As an avid Scrabble® and Words with Friends® I often try to make unique and challenging words. There are many helpful resources to study up on words that can be made using challenging sets of letters. Some of these sites are used for cheating, but often they are a great tool to simply learn new words that you may not know exist. My favorite site for finding new Scrabble words is a lexical Scrabble word finder tool that I wrote called Word Finder Cheat.

Scrabble Word Lists

One nice feature of Word Finder Cheat is that it offers many great Scrabble word lists that show all the words that begin, contain, or end with a letter. A great example of this is a list of words that contain Q but not U. You could also find all the words that end with J.

Scrabble and Words with Friends Definitions

In addition to the word lists, Word Finder Cheat also has a handy Scrabble word definition tool that allows you to find out what a word means. You can call an opponents out for cheating or simply get more information about a word you didn’t know much about. The tool offers a definition, synonyms, related words, and reference information.

Scrabble Cheats

For those that just want to win at all costs the tool has a great Scrabble and Words with Friends cheat tool that will help you find all possible words that can be made with a set of letters or tiles. The tool can accept wildcards as well to accommodate blank tiles. I don’t recommend cheating since it ruins the game, but if you really want to bend the rules in your favor, this is the way to do it.

I may be a little biased but I really think this is a top notch lexical word tool. It is optimized for mobile devices and is much faster than some other sites offering similar tools.
